audio/music cds wont auto play in 11.1

Audio cds wont auto play when I slide in the cd in the drive
In times past always got a window to pop up asking what I wanted to do with the media or what to program to play it with… NOW i dont see that go on with 11.1 How I get that feature back ?

Sure I can go to kaffeine and click on play cd… but not much of a choice and with amarok I dont seem to see a play cd feature or a way to play my audio cd in it…

KsCD
Do you have it installed. Works well and should be presented as an option in the devices popup when you slide a cd in.

yes I have KsCD installed but its the POP up i dont get when I put in a audio cd. like the system wont recognize a audio cd.

This is kind of random of you, posting in an old thread like this. Please confirm that you are using kde3. Also post the result of:

zypper lr -d

It will tell us more.

In the control centre in kde or I think also from right click on the desktop you set to view mounted devices to display on the desktop.

Check in /media for any such devices also
