audio hardware resources

Can anybody give me a pointer to good resources for audio hardware? I’m thinking about forums or reviews principally. And as far as the hardware, I’m mainly considering recording analogue audio at a quality better than typical MP3s but probably not as good as top-flight professional kit.

Thanks,

FWIW, the best site I’ve found is <http://lad.linuxaudio.org/>
There are lots of resources there.

I think I’ll probably buy a Roland UA-1G (a.k.a. Cakewalk or Edirol UA-1G)
