Audigy 2 zs , round 2

Ok, I have verified that my sound card is working, sort of. I plugged
the 1/8 stereo jack into the front panel of my dell precision 670, and I
get sound. So I take the cable and plug it in to the green port, line 1,
on the actual card itself. No sound. I know this is a working port,
windows xp has no problem with it. Any ideas? pulling my hair out on
this one.

You likely need an audigy 2zs user, who has a dell precision 670 with the same coloured ports to understand what i/o ports you are refering to. But the obvious question any one is going to ask, is did you also adjust/check your mixer to ensure the new port is not muted, or has the volume at an appropriate level?

OK, I had to enable the Audigy Analog/Digital Output jack. It works, but
kinda choppy. I’m getting closer at least.
