Audacious and audio-CD

Hello!

In OS 12.2 I haven’t been able to play audio-CDs with Audacious. Audacious used to have the audio-CD option under the services tab but nothing as I can see in 12.2, and I could not find an option to enable it either. I have checked if adding the libcdio++0 package would make the difference but it didn’t.

Have anyone else problems with this?

This one is not only happening in openSUSE
What I do is just insert the cd and play as files or add to playlist
the content of the mounted cd

OK, though I can’t make it play files either. If I try ‘Open files’ it complains about: ‘directory not local’, when pointed to the CD; and a similar error pops-up if I drag in files from dolphin: ‘unknown directory file does not exists’.

I don’t know how you do this in dolphin
I am using thunar and I right click the mouse
in the cd icon and click mount and it is now ready to play
using audacious by using the music files or adding it to the play lists.

Maybe it is because I’m using KDE(?), allthough that was not any limitation earlier. And I can access the audio-CD from dolphin, as well as play it with AmaroK, VLC and MPlayer so I shall not make to much of an issue out of this. But Audacious used to be the player I relied on the most to play CDs earlier as both AmaroK and Clementine has been too much on and off in this regard, and I would like to scrobble so the other players aren’t really that useful for me. I also like the clean and basic way Audacious work.

Thanks in any case,
Cheers
