ATI repository is down

Hi to all,
I followed the instructions to install an ATI driver
from here ATI - openSUSE
but when I tried to download the driver adding the repository with yast I get errors.
Seems that the repository is down.
Is there any mirror or other alternative? I can not start my serverX since I installed on my pc an ATI video card.
Regards,
Franco

I also have the same setup. I get a checksum error after the download of both files. It seems the files were changed without updating the checksum.
I hope it will be fixed soon.

The ATI repo has been down for the past two weeks and it looks like nobody gives a ****…

I suggest you download the driver (latest version : Catalyst 10.2) from the AMD support website.

Hi
AFAIK, both the ATI and Nvidia repositories are under the direct
control of the respective manufacturers not openSUSE, so maybe it’s an
ATI issue and might be better to ask on their forums?

ATI repository is down

Not meant as a smart *** remark in any way, but considering the quality of their drivers, the repo being down is probably good news. lol!

I am so glad I don’t have an ATI card anymore.

This graphics guys should get there stuff straight. Its not like we get the graphic cards for free. They should provide support for both open-source and proprietary systems.Let me pay their support and forums a visit.
