my grafig driver (ATI-Radeon HD5440) didn’t work after one of the latest security updates since 1.September 2010.
How can I check the date of the online update packages to find out which package causes the problem.

You can check the zypp history to see what install/updates have been applied recently:
cat /var/log/zypp/history
The dates are in the log of when they were applied
I suspect this is a known problem with the latest kernel breaking the proprietary Catalyst driver. There are various threads on this (with hack/patches to work around):
