There are 64bit drivers available for linux for this card, but I’ve had no luck installing them on openSUSE 11.3, any suggestions? I’ve checked sticky’s and searched. Is there no hope?
“man radeon” on openSUSE-11.3 suggests this is not yet supported by the radeon driver in 11.3. “man radeonhd” on openSUSE-11.3 suggests this is not yet supported by the radeonhd driver in openSUSE-11.3. It likely works with the vesa and the fbdev driver in 11.3.
And it works with the fglrx (amd catalyst 11.2 proprietary graphic driver).
Note catalyst-11.2 is NOT to be confused with openSUSE-11.2. They are NOT the same.
