Ati 2400 XT Dual Monitor Help

I have set my Dell Optiplex 755 up with SuSE 11.1 x86_64, all seems well except for my dual monitor situation. I have searched all over the web for information on how to get this to work properly but I just can’t figure it out. So, two clean installs later and I’m still in the same boat. My video card is an ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT. It is a low profile card with one out, that splits for dual vga display. I’m using a Dell 1908FP and a Dell 1907FP for monitors. Works perfectly in windows, but I know that doesn’t mean much :stuck_out_tongue:

I have installed the latest drivers from the ATI website, hopefully correctly. One thing to note is that when I open amdcccle, I am not able to turn on xinerama, but if I turn it on with aticonfig, or by putting it in the xorg.conf file, X always crashes. If you need more info than what I have provided please let me know. I have tried as much as I know to try. Thanks in advance!

Xinerama off in the ServerLayout section, but then on in the ServerFlags section? This is consistent in my xorg.conf.

Ok, not sure why that was the case, but I checked my xorg.conf file again, and it is off in both locations.
