I am trying to install my wireless broadband internet card on my laptop running SUSE. Is it possible. The usb card has the software for windows installed on it already. I do not have linux drivers. Is there a way I can get them?
you are going to get told to do this; a little understanding can be very helpful in linux;
particularly read the middle stickie:
My wireless doesn’t work - a primer on what I should do next - openSUSE Forums
after you have done that;
if you have a USB device a good command in a terminal would seem to be:
prefacing what Axel has just advised elsewhere:
/sbin/lspci -nn
for a USB device; I should have said
lsusb
with your wireless device plugged in
