Asus Vivobook S500C Only Boots to Bios opensuse 13.1 after update

I’m running opensuse 13.1 64-bit on an asus vivobook s500c and after I did an update today which appeared to update the kernel, it asked to reboot and when I did it went to the bios screen.

There is nothing listed anymore under boot options in the bios and nothing I can do in the bios allows me to boot anymore. Fastboot and secure boot are disabled which I had to do to install opensuse in the first place so I’m thinking the kernel update changed something? The hard drive is an intel SSD drive which is listed under hard drive as AHCI so it’s there but cannot boot from it.

Please let me know if you need more information to help me get back into my laptop. thanks!

Did you ever get this resolved?

If not, can you post a photo of the screen where it stops?

You can post that to http://paste.opensuse.org/

Then, post in a message here the link SUSE Paste gives you.
