got a asus usb-ac51 wireless network. they have a driver for it. what i need to know is how to install the driver.

I had a quick look at the driver. Good luck if you can get that to compile with a recent kernel!
No current mainline kernel support for it that’s for sure
Honestly, I think I’d just choose something supported out of the box given the value of these devices. (For example, I purchased a N300 USB Adapter TL-WN821N a few months back for a desktop PC located in a bedroom far from our router.)
