Got a new laptop a couple weeks ago and noticed it doesn’t always charge when I plug it in. It seems like if I plug it in while it’s sleeping (lid closed) it won’t charge, but if I plug it in while it’s on, and then close the lid, it will charge while it’s sleeping, or at least as indicated by the orange charge light. It also charges if I plug it in while it’s completely off. Curious if this is a kernel/firmware thing or if it’s just a quirk of this laptop. Has anyone else experienced this?
