are we sure 11.4 will be Evergreened?

i ask because several weeks ago a big load of 11.4 bugs were marked as
“won’t fix” and now today i see that there is an update to openJDK 1.7
for openSUSE 12.1, but none for 11.4 <http://tinyurl.com/9vgrdk5>

anyone know if ‘they’ plan to do nothing for 11.4 until it goes past end
of life and THEN someone will make it all ok again…

really? sounds implausible to me.

Seems there’s a mailing list that covers Evergreen, perhaps that would be
a good place to look/ask.

See http://en.opensuse.org/Evergreen for info.

OpenJDK 1.7 for 11.4 was always in an extra repository, you should still
find it there, I’ld guess evergreen will just take that version then,
they already discuss on their mailing list how to use th OBS for the
project for 11.4. But for a real answer you have to ask on their list

Yes. I complained about that.

Because that is not the version that 11.4 carries.

More or less.

They are different people.

hmmmm: i asked without thinking.

thanks all for your thoughtful replies (which i should have been able to
ferret out unassisted!)
