Are there rpm versions of nvidia beta drivers?

Hi!

My nvidia card needs the legacy driver from nvidia. In the openSUSE directory the current version is 96.43.9

As with many other users the menu text does not show for several applications when using compiz.

Apparently the beta 96.43.10 driver corrects this.

I have tried to install that myself using the instructions on the nividia site for suse but have been unsuccessful.

Is there anywhere that has the beta in a rpm for yast? Who can I ask about getting the betas into the repos?

Just type ‘nvidia’ and it will list all package versions available for your suse version.
