While YaST is handy with its GUI configuration tool, its dated appearance, lack of intuitiveness, and lengthy loading times are notable drawbacks. While I appreciate its current functionality, the interface leaves much to be desired. I’ve caught glimpses of the previews for the new installer, and it seems promising. Thus, I’m curious: are there any forthcoming plans to revamp YaST’s design or replace it with something based on this new installer?
