i have the asus rog strix g15 advantage edition with a ryzen 9 5900hx 8 cores 16 threads and it boosts to 4.6ghz the gpu is radeon rx6800 while gaming like for example playing something like dragon ball z kakarot or borderlands 3 or even hades all with max settings for the most part my cpu temps get around 93 celsius but never goes above that is that fine? is it safe? also i dont seem to detect any kind of thermal throttling at all.
Hi
That sounds a bit high to me, perhaps since not seeing issues it could be the sensor multipliers or configuration etc. The only way to check is via a physical check via thermo couple and meter or I use a model engine device, calibrate and point at the chips in question etc…

well i took it apart then added a enough 3mm heatsinks to cover the gpu and cpu and then cut a few bigger slits in the bottom air intake and now my temps are around 84 to 86 celcious gaming full load
ok well turns out i was running all my games on my cpu apu and not my dedicatted card i had to add dri_prime=1 to steam launch settings weird becuase my other laptop it uses the dedicatted card by default oh well now everything is much cooler and looks way better
