i have a question, are all the iso files relating to opensuse 11.4 (DVD) that you put them for download in the site always update?
i mean, are update packages that you continuously offer for users, including in iso file in the site or not?
No, usually the iso files contain the software as it was originally released. So it is advisable to do an update after you freshly installed the system. Naturally, for 11.4 you will get a lot of updates. As far as I know, there are unofficial builds which contain updated software.
No. The ISO files to download for installation of openSUSE are frozen on the release date. All security/recommended updates come via the Update repository. Very rare there might be an update of the OSS and/or non-OSS repositories, but basicaly a release stays as it is released. The next version of openSUSE then offers newer versions of the packages (when available of course).
Also, not we offer update packages, we here at the forums are users like you.
OK, i thought developers may read and answer the threads.
No, they’re too busy polishing up 12.1.
so i hope they polish it correctly and fine

We have a few developers who participate, but in general, no, the
developers interface with users through bugzilla, openFATE, and the
mailing lists.
