Archiving/Backup Application

I am running Suse10.1 on an ibm rs/6000. I have a DDS3 tape drive. Is there any out-of-box software that will archive files automatically on to the drive? Or will I have to create some kind of script?

The drive appears to be recognized in the hardware list. Next I intend to, at least, copy some files to the drive to see if it is operational.

Thanks in advance.

Steve

Hi
Sounds like your running an enterprise version SLED/SLES 10 SP1? There
is a separate forum http://forums.novell.com as this is openSUSE :slight_smile:

There should be a YaST tool for this, else you could look here;

or
