Hi, I just came across aptX which is supposed to be a modern audio codec for streaming sound to Bluetooth devices with almost wired quality. I have a Bluetooth speaker at home that should support this new codec. So how about my laptop with OpenSuse? Currently the streaming to the speaker does work, however the quality is not over all good (there are many glitches in the sound, it gets delayed, it works much better with my smartphone). I think this might be a way to solve this problem. And even if not, I would be still interested in whether this codec has to be supported directly by the Bluetooth chip in my laptop or whether it is a simple software feature that has to be enabled.
