Applications remain on taskbar even if desktop is changed

Hello,

I use Multiple Desktops, however when I change my Desktop I still see the applications from the previous workspace. This takes up a lot of space on the Taskbar.

I have the following settings at Application Launcher-> TaskBar;
-unchecked: Show windows from all Desktop
-checked: Sort windows by desktop

Are there any other changes that I need to make.

Which KDE4 ? I have KDE4 4.4 RC2 running now, filtering the task manager works flawlessly. At a friend’s even on a dual screen configuration.

I am using KDE 4.1.3 “release 4.9”

Does it not work within KDE 4.1.3? How can I update my KDE version?

By updating anyway. KDE4 4.3.5 was released through the update servers.
