application like iPaper, may be Nepumak

Dears,

iPaper is a software on Mac that is used to index PDF and scientific papers (guess it can handle all sort of docs.). it enables you to index them and search. I heard somewhere that Nepumak on KDE does the same indexing on MetaData, but i cannot find it in openSUSE repos.

any ideas are appreciated.

nepomuk is part of KDE4. You need the kde4 repos for that if you don’t already have them. It must be also enabled in KDE4’s control center (and can work with strigi desktop search engine)
