Application launcher button does not work

I’ve already installed KDE 4.2 All right except that when I press the Application launcher button does not work.

This means I have no access to the menu.

The only that works is when the mouse pointer pass over and display a message “kickoff Application Launcher”… and an explanation what it does… but nothing when I click

How do I have to do to make it works ?

I rebooted my computer and it works. (I don’t understand why… and why the installer doesn’t ask me to reboot my pc)

anyway it’s solved !
