Application icons in Gnome Application Browser

Hi

I’m using Opensuse 11.1. I have some application icons that I can’t get rid of from the Gnome application browser. They are from wine applications that I have uninstalled, but the icons remain. There are several similar posts in this forum, but none of the suggestions work for me.
Firsly, someone suggested using Control Centre - can’t find that in this version of Opensuse
I’ve checked my user and shared folder in Nautilus with hidden files selected. Can’t find the icons in any of those folders.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

David

Hi
You mean from the slab menu? Just right-click and remove from
favorites. The Control Center is in the Slab menu off to the right,
else Alt+F2 and enter gnome-control-center. Or is it in recent
applications, then have a look here;

Hi

Thanks, but neither of these. The icons are in the Gnome “Application Browser”, which you reach by selecting the “More Applications” button. I’ve got around 6 icons in there that I can’t get rid of.

Thanks

David

Hi
Then they should be down in /usr/share/applications with the .desktop
extension.

Hi

Got them. I found them in a .local hidden folder in my user area via Nautilus.

Thanks
