Just performed a new install of OS11.1 first 64bit then 32bit. My apple wired keyboard in both distributions doesn’t work properly.
Originally the keyboard is detected as Mac not Apple, and as Mac the cursor keys don’t function correctly. Pressing up on the keyboard in konsole doesn’t recall history commands in bash and i’m unable to use the cursor keys to edit text in all programs.
Once I change the manufacturer to apple it works for that session. When I logout and login again the keyboard cursor keys no longer function. Even if the SAX config is correct the only way to get it working again is to reselect apple and basic keyboard in sax and save the configuration.
Anybody else have this problem? or any ideas how to proceed?
I should say it was working perfectly in 11.0.
