Having some text issues with the graphical yast/apper updates on my 13.2 desktop. Not sure if this has been logged as a bug anyone else having these issues. Not a biggy just a little annoying…
Cheers

No problem here:

Looking at your screenshot, this doesn’t seem to be a “text issue”, but rather a widgets (or widget style) issue.
Try choosing a different widget style in “Configure Desktop”->“Application Appearance”->“Style”.
Which one have you set, btw?
This looks like Plasma5’s breeze to me.
Hmmmm, thats wierd because mine is also set to Breeze.
I hit defaults and it set to Oxygen, ill see if that makes a difference. That look and feel doesnt bother me too much anyway so long it actually updates my machine fine. Ill give it a go via apper when i spot there is another patch. See if it works fine with oxygen.
No, I’m using Oxygen.
I meant yours looks like breeze…

It should. There might be a problem with breeze though. I’ll try myself.
Btw, OOC, are you using KDE4 or Plasma5?
And if the latter, are you using the Plasma5 included in 13.2 or have you added a separate repo?
The desktop should not matter for this, but the version of the package breeze4-style might make a difference.
PS: I can reproduce your problem here by switching to the breeze style. It happens both with the version 5.1.1 included in 13.2 and the 5.2 beta from the KF5 repo.
So either Apper is doing something weird that just happens to work with Oxygen (haven’t tried other styles yet), or there’s a bug in breeze.
You could file a bug report at KDE if you want to, probably against breeze (they should best be able to decide whether it’s a bug in the style or in Apper)
