app to do fan control for msi g75 0 vs bloated dragon center spyware - for linux and mswin - kde

I need a fan control app for my msi gf75. I have to mix linux and mswin support, since I want the same app for both.

For mswin, I found one on github (opensource) ‘fan control’, but it works only on my desktop - mswin. A library LibreHardwareMonitor of it, does give temp info, but the copying the libraries has no effect. (linux is so much easier to find and install apps).

yast only lists an app for asus cards.

Need help…

Hi
Have you configured CoolBits on in a /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ file? Then should be able to control via the GPUFanControlState and GPUCurrentFanSpeed attributes and nvidia-settings.

Never heard of gitlab, not sure to trust it.
