App start help

i have an application called QNext. its an instant messenger among other things. to run it i have to go to the folder its in and type ./qnextclient into a terminal. i have to keep the terminal open for it to run. as its running the terminal still says things to do with the client. Is it possible to run this without a terminal? If yes how would i go about making a desktop icon link to run it easily?

Hi
Just right-click on your desktop, select create launcher, add the info
and it’s done.

cant create anything on my desktop. is it ‘create new> link to application’?

Hi
I run Gnome, if it’s KDE that sounds about right. You should also be
able to customize the icon you wish to use as well.
