I’m looking for the Apache Benchmarking tool. This is supposed to come with the Apache installation. I did an install via YAST of Apache 2.2. I’m running SUSE 11.3. If I type ab at the command line, it says the command is not found. So where is the Apache Benchmarking tool located? On Windows it’s in the apache/bin directory. Not sure where it is on SUSE.

Thanks for your post. I was able to run the tool after you pointed me in the right direction. I kept looking for an ab command. I had an older book for Apache. I had searched within the SuSE forums but apparently didn’t use the right search criteria.
It’s kind of ironic that I got a reply from someone with the screen name of ab
That’s why I wanted to fix it so quickly! I didn’t want to be seen as
missing in action.
Actually, it’d be ironic if ‘ab2’ had responded.
Good luck.
