Need obtain replacement monitor, ordered and received AOC 2436Vwh LCD Monitor 23.6" (59.8cm).
OK with plug and play 
Immediate reaction here, was the 23.6" (59.8cm) seemed larger than expected
Audio level seemed quieter, expected higher volumes, comparing to my decade old IBM speakers, using older style stereo plugs, as no HDMI fitted to my computer, yet. Boosted from factory 50/100 to 68/100 this made the noise better, higher did not change much.
Switch to HDMI doubt make sound louder, may return to use externals, a tiny bit louder would have avoided this my main disappointment. When others away, the house is quiet and the sound fine.
Monitor wobbles a little on my roll-around desktop when typing hard.
DVD configured for MS only, though able to browse through easy enough.
