After using zypper dup to upgrade to milestone 3 according to Grub (easy change) and the console messages, the “Welcome to openSUSE 11.2 Milestone N - (Kernel version)” where N is the number, is still saying that I am running Milestone 2 but zypper up and zypper dup doesn’t find any packages to upgrade. Is this happening to anyone else?
It is a BUG, it’s in the most annoying things for Milestone 3 (on the wiki). If you will use Factory repos then that issue is gone (since it’s simple as updating a text file in /etc/issue).

If you are in any doubt as to M2 or M3, and you have “My Computer” on the DE, run it and it should report that you are on M3 (mine did after zypper dup).
That is good to know that it is a known problem and already fixed in the factory.
