Mi printer is end-of-life and i’m looking for another one.
I’ve seen OKI C5650N and it seems fine for me except for one VERY important thing: it’s a GDI printer (aka winprinter). I’ve been searching for it supponrt in cups and i’m not sure if it’s supported or not. It’s seems there is a driver of a guy but it’s not a CUPS official driver si i dont’d knwon if its works OK.
i would like to knwow if somebody is using it and how does it work in OpenSuse.

Hello fperal and welcome to the openSUSE forum. I have not used the OKI C5650N printer, but I would like to ask if you have considered using an HP printer? The hplip application is included with openSUSE and it supports both directly connected and network connected printers. I am using HP C5180 inkjet & P1505n laser, both with network connections and they work fine with openSUSE. It is hard to recommend any specific printer these days due to the fact that they stay on the market for such a short period of time. But, I am sold on using HP with Linux. Their driver works and they support the printer ink for a very long time. Of course, they make plenty of money with it, but it prints when I need it. Just something to consider.

fperal;
Since this is rated as working “mostly”, it would appears there may be some
loss of functionality. The second site gives more details on this and
instructions for obtaining and installing the driver.
