Anyone having any luck using Audex for cd ripping? I just upgraded to Plasma 6.2 and I tried to rip an audio cd to mp3 and it still won’t work. I get one of these two errors:
Extraction is taking too long. Would you like to continue?
Audex not responding
I also get the not responding message when I try to close the app.
I posted a bug 4 months ago at bugs.kde.org but there have been no responses since then.
Use Asunder instead
I tried ripping mp3s with Asunder 3 times and each time I got an error that said, “There was a problem creating the files.”

I installed Audex on my system (using Tumbleweed duly updated) and tested a CD to rip. It worked fine. Tried the same CD with Asunder and that worked fine.
Is your problem perhaps hardware caused! As another test you might want to try ripping a CD with K3b.
