Anyone uses rssowl ?

Hi
Not sure if this is the forum to ask, but does anyone tried rssowl ?

rssowl.org/

I’m using kcontact for rssfeeds, however, he doesn’t share, even if it says
share to twitter.

I’ve try to install, but there is a issue with the xulrunner, that is
addressees in this FAQ, however, I still can’t make it work .
rssowl.org/help#item_6j

I know this as nothing to do with opensuse , but just asking

Best regards

I used to use rssowl, maybe 4 yrs ago.

Whenever you post about an app like this,
You need to describe your app source, whether you installed a package and if so from which repository, or if you installed from source where your source came from.

If you installed an rpm package, the following command displays all relevant info where the package is from (assumes the package name is rssowl)

zypper info rssowl

It’d probably be useful to also state your version of the app.
And, the Desktop you’re running may be relevant, too.

But I had to follow this additional thread , changing the ln location to
opensuse system :

Congrats on finding the answer.

Yeah, when you install “universal” code the code owners develop on their own distro and assume all distros have the same file structure which is of course not true… So you may need to symlink the files from where the files are actually located to where the app expects.
