Anyone knows how to install the latest enlightment on suse?

I was wondering if there was a link to some how to or some repo that could help me cause I want to check out the latest enlightment desktop. Thanks

Index of /repositories/X11:/Enlightenment

And then choose your distribution version.

Another good one and big repository with E17 are Index of /repositories/home:/dmitry_serpokryl:/SOAD

Thanks for the links and sorry for the late reply but which packages do I have to install now?

Add one of those repositories and search for enlightenment in YAST or search with zypper.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I installed it using this guide here:

Cool Solutions: Enlightenment .17: Here Comes the Eyecandy

The problem is the desktop never shows up when I try to start it and another thing that I get loads of dependency errors while trying to install engage.

Alright I have installed it and everything but its not usable like for example I have to press and hold the left mouse button for the men u to stay there.

If you wish to get the latest E and some support - please visit our thread:

Enlightenment (DR-16 and DR-17) - openSUSE Forums

In general the Webpin tool should provide an answer on your question (it depends on a system version which repo to use). For 11.0 please add this one:

Index of /pub/opensuse/repositories/home:/dmitry_serpokryl:/Enlightenment-cvs-core-metapackage/openSUSE_11.0

To begin with just select ‘E17’ and ‘e_modules’ packages.
