Anyone else tried Chakra?

I have been playing with the betas and helping to squash bugs. I think this will be one nice distro in the next couple of years. I’m torn at the moment. I love KDEmod and the speed, but the KISS mentality usually kicks me in the crotch. It is annoying to have to manually load modules to make CPU scaling work, or the cups daemon not started when a printer is present at install time. I understand that most of the speed is from not having every module and service started by default, but in my opinion, there has to be some kind of compromise in this area if Chakra is ever going to take off. Arch still requires you to configure everything manually. I think if Chakra is going to promote automatic hardware detection and configuration, modules associated with your hardware should be loaded by default. Am I just spoiled?
