Anyone able to run Golden Cheetah on openSUSE?

I’m trying to install Golden Cheetah (A Sport tracking application) on openSUSE. All they provide is a Fedora 19 rpm and I’m having trouble getting it to work. Has anyone done this successfully? Suggestions?

Please specify what’s not happening, and what error messages you get when
you try to. :slight_smile:

Hi
I’ve copied qwtplot3d from the science repo and create the srmio
package (build and install/run requirements), just working on
GoldenCheetah now and cleaning up a few things and should be here soon;

Thanks! How do I use/install that on my system?

software.opensuse.org: and use the 1-click, the disable the repository via YaST…

Thank you. 1 question: why do I remove the repo? Is it because there will never be updates? or is there another reason?

Hi
It’s my testing repository, so prefer you disable as all sorts of stuff
gets in there :wink: If it all works for you I will push to a proper
repo…

Thank you! I will try it this weekend and let you know if it works.

Thank you! I’ve been using it for about a week and everything seems to be working perfectly! It’s a bit slow but I think that’s GoldenCHeetah not the build.

Thanks!

What repo did you add this to?
