As title say, since kde plasma6 is approaching rc2 status, i’m very curious to test it. Is it possibile to have it on a tumbleweed install?

New krypton ISOs are now plasma 6 (you have to choose this, it isn’t default).
And you can upgrade but it isn’t simple:
You have to add the unstable KDE repos (from the Argon and Krypton SDB)
And add the new qt6 one at the bottom of the same SDB
Install plasma6 in a tty* with:
sudo zypper install pattern:kde_plasma6
And then answer a lot of ‘what to do with’ questions in order that plasma6 programs replace plasma5 ones. If you make a mistake, quit and run zypper install pattern:kde_plasma6 again.
*In a tty, not konsole - coz konsole will quit during the update and it will drop out to sddm, unfinished.
Is it possible to stick with the 6.0 RCs? Currently the unstable repos are already moving on to the 6.1 release…
