Any way to change look of Kickoff Launcher Menu?

Is there a way to change the background/border colors, etc of the Kickoff Launcher in KDE?

Also, to change the Menu icon ?

In the kde4.3 beta that I am running, the icon is changed by right click - Application Launcher Settings.

The actual menu itself, I don’t know, but you would expect it to change with the Theme selected, but I’m fairly sure that is not the case. But I just don’t have the time or inclination to investigate as I’m happy with it as is.

The kickoff theme changes per theme, the start button though depends on the version you run.
I am glad though that KDE 4.3 offers the option to change the icon without changing the theme.

The Application Launcher icon can be changed in 4.2 and lower through this method Change the Start Button Icon KDE4 - openSUSE Forums. Make sure to read the whole thing for the proper name of the file to replace.
