Hi all, I have been looking at Kalpa to be my next OS and I noticed that it is still in Alpha. It has been like that for quite some time because I have looked before, maybe several months ago.
Is there any news about Kalpa which I haven’t found yet, for example will it be out of Alpha soon? I have time, the present OS is running great but I like something else and I think Kalpa could be the best choice for me.

Thanks Hui, but I don’t use these type of websites. I wonder why info about Kalpa isn’t just placed at a Kalpa webpage in the openSUSE website.

You are of course free to (not) do anything you like, but your exact question is answered on one of “those websites” titled - surprise! - “Official News Source for the openSUSE Kalpa Project”.
Do you volunteer to maintain this information on the Kalpa webpage?
I mean, somebody can volunteer all they want, but being as I’m the primary developer, if I get somebody trying to use the wiki page as a news page, I’m going to nip it in the bud.
