Any Media Applications that are capable of ssh?

hello I have an ipod touch 3.1.1 and so far have been unable to connect through ifuse…so I’m wondering if there is any media players that will sync with the ipod through openssh…I have heard that a previous version of Amarok was able to do this though it seems that this feature is gone in the new version, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I know nothing of these devices but I know my Son did something known as (Jailbreaking)
or
If the device has a browser? Could you sync to a dropbox folder?

Yes my device is Jailbroken, which is the only way to run openssh on it, and what exactly is syncing to a dropbox folder? I really don’t want to have to download a vm as this would be the only reason I would ever use it, so I am very interested in your proposed method…Thanks

I was thinking out loud.
Dropbox could be installed on your main computer (possibly on your media device - but that’s not essential)
https://www.dropbox.com/home#:::

Drop files in a folder on your main pc and you can connect to those files online via a web browser or if you can install dropbox on the device it will automatically sync with all the files you drop there on your main PC

Thanks…this is something that I’m definitely going to look into as I’ve been searching for a solution for awhile now.

it “sync” means to exchange files I’d say every application on top of kde is
able to do so. Using the kio slave for fish or sftp you can use the normal
“save file as” dialog or even any file manager like dolphin or konqueror to
access the files. Also, amarok can use these. Just replace the path in a
file dialog by a fish://… or sftp://… url and things work.
