This is how my Media desktop looks, with default openSUSE background. The plasma-theme is Oxyzone, taskmanager widget replaced by Fancy Tasks

I think the background looks too messy and haphazard. 11.2 looked more professional.

I just tried out 11.3 RC2 last night and I wonder, why is it the Gnome startup splash screen is blue, but when it boots everything is green? I kinda like the blue (prefer it over Fedora’s blue) and think it would be a good distinction between the KDE (green) and Gnome (blue).

Surprised the CodingStudiodoesn’t have any for 11.3 yet. They usually post beta’s of at least the popular distros.

It was when the Gnome Live CD first starts booting up.

Never use live cd really, so I’m sure you are correct.
I’m fully installed with the final release now and don’t see a hint of blue. I guess the live cd is different kettle of fish, as the saying goes.
I have Gnome installed too, it’s great, but then it was in 11.2
