Anti-Virus Mate using SUSE logo?

Dear SUSE Community,
I was wondering if anyone else noticed a little logo inside the free (China-based software) antivirus program that was on Giveaway of the Day not too long ago:

That PC SOS icon looks eerily familiar. Where have I seen it before?

Discussion stemmed from this forum post from fatwallet.com.

funny, but it probably means it is built using open source/GNU code
and is probably not being distributed with an open license…

who is that prosecutes such…how do we tip them to have a look?

Looks like it uses a rescue cd that’s based on openSuse.

except that it doesn’t provide a rescue cd…

I’ve forwarded it to someone who should be able to get it to the right
people.

Perhaps it tells you how to download an openSuse cd for rescue purposes.

Did anyone find out any more information about this?

It may also be that they just used the artwork (that symbol is exact size of the icon image used for openSUSE desktop Help in 11.1

The information was passed along to the openSUSE Legal folks and they’re
running with it.

About that image shown in the OP …

Is it just me, or was there, when it first was posted, an actual openSuSE Geeko inside what is now only a livesaver icon? If I remember that correctly then apparantly something has happened.

The page info for http://www.winavm.com/images/avm.jpg shows that the page was modified on “Fri 09 Apr 2010 02:30:03 PM CEST”

Yep - they removed the logo. It used to be the SuSE logo in the middle of the life preserver.
EDIT: They moved the image; it’s still linked to on some pages:
