Hi everyone, I successfully installed Cinelerra but i can’t figure out why I can’t get any sound during playback.
- The files I’m using are .mov, and they do playback normally using Totem or Quicktime on a Mac.
- I’ve tried different Audio drivers and nothing works.
- I’ve tried arming the audio channels.
- I’ve researched this forum and have googled the problem and I have no leads…
- I do have sound in .wav .mp3 , other .mov files, movies etc, so I have all the needed firmware/software installed

- Sample rate in Settings → Format coincides with that of .mov file.
- I must be doing something wrong then, because it doesn’t seem to be a general problem…
I’d appreciate any ideas!
