Android emulator

Is there any emulator for suse? I wanna run android apps via opensuse

You can download the SDK for Android and run apps in there, but that’s
probably not what you’re after since that’s mainly meant for development
and the last time I tried it the process was notably not-snappy.

Which apps are you after? Perhaps there are native alternatives.

Good luck.

There is a version of eclipse that does emulation but it is very slow. You need to remember that Android runs on ARM processors not Intel family so you have to emulate a whole different processor.

I need something like this BlueStacks - Home
Need to run apps like Instagram etc

Do a search on “AndroVM” - the project’s name has changed, but that’ll
get you on the right track. The performance isn’t bad in my experience,
but it’s not an “emulator” - it’s an actual x86 VM.
