Hi
I have noticed the last couple of days an amarok pop up when i start the pc (probably when amarok is started)
‘Amazon Store Service Config’
What might that be, and how could I remove it…? I mean remove all the amazon software.
Does anyone have experience in this…?
Sincerely
Mallus

So Amarok does show a splash screen on startup that says Amarok, in large letters and the in smaller letters, it says Rediscover Your Music. I don’t see anything about Amazon Store Music when Amarok is started. I did find this link on the subject:
Svens Blog
Perhaps you have activated this. You did not mention when openSUSE version that you use and I assume you have installed the KDE Desktop.
Thank You,

Thanks for your reply JDMCDaniels3…
I use 12.1 KDE 64 bit, so you are right.
In my amarok in the left corner is an icon, it is called media sources home.
There i can choose between local music, internet, files, music sources and podcast. It might have something to do with that…?
I just started after an update, I guess.
‘Amazon Store Service Config’, - you had to select your country for nearest shop.
Actually i then after a while, yesterday chose none ogf the mentioned, and it disappeared.
So in that way it is no issue. But still… there is a kind of amazon add in amarok, it must be possible to remove it.
Absolutely, nothing in life is certain, I will bear your words in mind
