Anyone managed to solve the issues with the wiki-tab and the lyrc script in amarok?
I’m still on KDE3 but at least the wiki issue should apply to both amarok versions as it apparently is a change in how to connect to wikipedia. It seems as a common problem, especially the wiki-tab problem, but haven’t seen much talk of it in this forum. I like those two features and would really like have them fixed. One option is probably to compile one own amarok, but was rather hoping packman would solve this.
(By the way, the colour chooser does not display any preview colours in the dialog box where you pick them??)

what problem, exactly?
Amarok Version 2.0.1 Using KDE 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) “release 83.1”, and the Wiki as well as the lyrics applet works fine.

I am on kde 3.5.9, and stil use the old amarok. The wiki-tab does not display any info on request. And according to this link there is a change in the wikipedia site layout: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/amarok/+bug/316140/.

It seems like lyrc works again, probably after I did an update from the packman repo though there was no amarok or ruby updates which I noticed. Before this, the lyrc script has crashed everytime I have clicked on the lyric tab, and it has been like this for weeks.

I haven’t got an old Amarok left, sorry. I think the best approach would be to contact the Amarok RPm maintainer on the Packman site and give him the links you posted here.
As I said, Amarok2 works fine here, so you could as well give that one a try.
