amarok play audio CD greyed out

have suse 11 kde 4
amarok about tab is kde 3.5.9 release 49.1
i have an audio CD in cd-rom but when i pull up amarok , in amarok under engage ‘the play audio CD’ is greyed out,
when i go to search for cd-rom with play media under amaroks engage tab, i dont see my CD -ROM in the play media (files or urls)…
in amarok the engine used is gstreamer/yauap engine

added amarok-xine in repository then changed the engine in amarok settings from gsteamer/yauap to xine in drop down menu
