The other day I fully updated (by updating all in repository unconditionally) to KDE 4.4 final. After that it seems amarok crashes when I try to start it.
Here’s the “Developer Information” from the crash.
Anyone have any insight?

I’ve already tried deleting amarok from ~/.kde4/share/apps/
*Disable the VLC repo or delete it.
*Please change your Update repo priority to 99
*Change Packman priority to 20
Be careful you don’t disable repos or refresh when adjusting their priority
Now do this is in this order
zypper dup -r KDE4.4_Core
zypper dup -r Packman Repository
Did some more searching and found a kubuntu thread that suggested deleting the amarok config files in ~/.kde4/share/config/ and that worked. But thanks anyways.

Neither did this. If by your post you meant that i should prioritize packman repo rather than the default opensuse update repo, than I did it, but was not able to execute
zypper dup -r KDE4.4_Core
from which repo should I update KDE?
You didn’t explain your problem very clearly
But have you tried deleting all your hidden amarok config files, might want to try that first.
This folder: .kde4/share/apps/amarok
These files:
.kde4/share/config/amarok-appletsrc
.kde4/share/config/amarok_homerc
.kde4/share/config/amarokrc
Yeah, that was the thing he suggested and that was also the thing that didn’t work. Deleted the "amarok*"files in /share/config and backed up the /share/apps/amarok and deleted the original…
