Hey peeps… I am getting some some repo issues when trying to update from Amarok 1.x to 2.x. I didn’t say it was an issue for me in another post… but I am a perfectionist and like to have everything up to date. Here is the message I get:

Go to Yast Software Managment
There should not be a package kde4-amarok anymore
It should be called amarok

So I’m puzzled why you quote kde4-amarok. The kde prefix version has moved to kde3 as in kde3-amarok

So unless you have at some earlier time installed the old kde4-amarok and that package is actually installed on your system? If it was it would show up in a search a would show in red colour with no providers in the versions tab.

My power was out for 2 days so I just looked at it. I had both: the package that just says amarok, and a kde4-amarok. I updated the first one and its now amarok 2 with no dependency issues.
