Amarok 2.1.1 not playing my mp3....

I’m using 11.2 KDE4.3.1 x86-64 final,my Amarok Version 2.1.1 (Using KDE 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1) “release 6”) not playing any mp3 song.
Any solution? >:(

you need to add the xine packages from the packam website:-

Amarok ain’t playing my Audio CD’s :frowning:

I can get them playing in other programs but not in Amarok… Any help???

I don’t know if this has something to do with it but on

System configuration > Multimedia

i have an HDA Intel (VT1708S Digital) i can’t get playing. the HDA Intel (VT1708S Analog) plays just fine but not the Digital… is this normal???

(not to speak of Pulse Audio , Jack audio connection kit, Esound (ESD) and aRts that everytime i tell them to play a massage appears saying that Phonon had to use HDA Intel (VT1708S Analog) because the ones i mentioned above don’t work…)

Nor mine. That feature was not implemented in Amarok version2. You can research it on the Amarok website/forum. Users want it back. IIRC the devs plan to bring it back, but it’s not a high priority. They gave some lame reason for not including it that boiled down to arrogance in deciding/telling users how they should be using their music collections. :\
